“Edible Flower” Afternoon High Tea in our Castine, Maine Inn

The Pentagoet Inn hosted an edible flower afternoon high tea on August 17, 2011.  This was a continuation of our afternoon tea and garden events.  Edible flowers, herbs and vegetables were provided by three of our local farms:  Carding Brook, Four Season and Blue Zee Farm. 

It was a beautiful afternoon for people to sit on the porch savoring a unique and delicious, culinary experience.  This well-attended event was covered by the Ellsworth American weekly newspaper,  "This is all just too beautiful to eat".
