The Blue Hill Heritage Trust and the Blue Hill Co-op have combined their efforts to provide opportunities to visit seven local area farms this summer.   These farms produce wonderful products sold in markets around the Blue Hill peninsula including Castine, Maine.  The restaurant at the Pentagoet Inn serves many organic products from these  local food producers.

The first chance to visit one of these farms will be Saturday, May 19th at the Bagaduce Farm in Brooksville, Maine.  They raise certified organic grass-fed livestock on the edge of the Bagaduce river.  The inn has served their pork chops at our annual harvest supper featuring the best of the peninsula's food products.

Six other farms will be featured throughout the summer.
